Notice of Special Meeting intent to file USDA Rural Development Loan

Four Pines Water Supply intends to file an application with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development Agency, for financial assistance to make improvements to their Central Water System in Anderson County, Texas. A Public meeting will be held at Bassett Road Baptist Church, located at 915 Bassett Road in Palestine, TX on Thursday, April 17th 2025, at 6:00 PM.  

The improvements will include ( Bassett Rd plant # 1) one 5,400 pressure tank. (Broyles Chapel plant # 2) one water well, one 80,000 gallon storage tank, one 12,000 gallon pressure tank, four 500 gpm pumps with pump house. (Harmony plant # 3) one remote well. Distribution System improvements of 62,880 feet of 8,6,4,and 3 inch pipe totaling 12 miles.

These improvements are to bring the water system into compliance with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality regulations. The estimated cost of the improvements will be 4,892,000.00
